The sixth work of the Modulationes quinque et sex vocum (Venice, 1562) is an astonishing six-voice motet dedicated to the House of Habsburg: the Sextus (Tenor 2) sings an eight-note soggetto cavato with the words Stat felix domus Austriae (la re mi sol ut fa mi re=A D E G C F E D).
